We know that the last few years have held significant challenges and ushered in big changes for the sector. The pandemic has led to feelings of disconnection and isolation, both in our Neighbourhood Houses and their communities, as well as a high risk of burnout.
We hope this conference will serve as an opportunity to pause and reflect, set new intentions for the future, and strengthen connections that will help us achieve those goals together.
The NHVic Conference is an annual highlight for Victoria’s Neighbourhood House sector, bringing together Neighbourhood House managers, staff and committee members, and other relevant stakeholders in the community services sector. It’s a chance for all of us to be inspired, learn something new, network and celebrate the life-changing work of our houses.
Attendees are treated to a diverse program of activities including keynotes and presentations, breakout workshops, lightning talks, awards and a gala dinner.
After a sold-out and highly received 2020 conference, 2023 is set to be our biggest yet! The event will be hosted at Silverwater Resort in the peaceful, coastal surroundings of San Remo.
